Elections and Anual General Meeting

The Deadline for nominations ends March 20. After which an online election will be held.
The Anual General meeting will be held on March 29th to meet the new and returning executives.

The following MSESS positions are available:

  1. President: who shall oversee all operations of the MSESS, guide the executives, and shall oversee interactions with corporate entities and professional organizations.
  2. VP-Internal: who shall oversee internal administration of the MSESS, including familiarizing the Chief Returning Officer (“CRO”) with elections policy, and generally assisting the president in carrying out his or her duties.
  3. VP-External: who shall oversee interactions with external engineering student societies, and who shall oversee interactions with the School of Engineering Science Committees.
  4. VP-Finance: who shall oversee matters concerning the finances of the MSESS.
  5. VP-Events: who shall oversee events organized by the MSESS.
  6. VP-Communications: who shall oversee the internal and external publications and information distribution mechanisms of the MSESS, including regular email bulletins to inform membership about upcoming events.
  7. Forum Representative: Represents the MSESS at SFSS Forum.

 

Part of the job of your student union is to help keep our members represented elsewhere. One great way is to give away and sell MSESS swag. We currently have keychain bottle openers, 16oz glass mugs and t-shirts available. We are currently in the process of deciding on sweaters and ordering bandanas.
